Radio Frequency

The InSiteShip RF (Radio Frequency) Module allows you to improve the real-time communication to your Picking and Packing operations.

The Control Module places your SyteLine and Visual orders in a picking queue that supplies the “virtual pick sheet” to the hand-held RF device.  Pickers will be directed to the next order they are required to fill, the item they need to pick and the location they need to pick it from.

As they pick the items, they can also be recording the packing detail of which container the items are being packed in.  With one simple step, the picking and packing has been completed.

In addition, you can be assured that orders are being fulfilled according to the priority of the order.  Pick sheets are eliminated as well as the problems that occur when pick sheets are printed in the order and then the order changes before it is fulfilled.

Most importantly, your warehouse personnel spends more time filling orders and less time moving around the warehouse looking for items that are no longer available or correcting picks that are no longer valid.
